What is the Mt. Crescent Ski & Snowboard Development Team?       (Formally Ski Runners)

MCSSDT is a program designed for skiers ages 4-13 and snowboarders ages 7-13 to develop their skills and enhance their technique. Before starting the program each student must have had a prior ski or snowboard lesson.

How does the program work?

MCSSDT is an eight week program. Once a week after school (Tuesdays for skiers, Thursdays for snowboarders, and Fridays for both skiers and snowboarders) your child will come to the hill, receive a lift ticket, rental equipment and a lesson.  Upon arrival the children will get their rental equipment and be separated into groups based on skill level.  Your child will follow a weekly outlined agenda and receive daily reports so that their progression can be tracked.  The lesson will last approximately 2 hours and then the child may practice their skills on the hill until close.

How much does the program cost?

The program cost is $199 rental equipment included.  You may bundle and save by purchasing a junior season pass for an additional $99.

What is the program’s availability and when do I need to sign up?

Skiing program begins Tuesday, Jan. 6, and Snowboarding program begins Thursday, Jan. 8. We will also offer both programs on Fridays starting Jan. 9.  We have only 200 slots available so we encourage you to sign up early to secure a spot.
